Who is doing quality B&W inkjet?

Well, if it ain't a Michael Gordon fan club... He's good, no question.

Here's another - Edward Burtynsky. He does mostly color, but his B&W is very stong. I saw a huge print of this (at least in the 40x50 inch range) at AIPAD a couple of years ago I think:

Inkjet done right. Stunning detail (it's full of cables and rebar), good dynamic range.

Try again. Idiot's using frames (so 1990s).

To navigate to the shot I was refering to:

    1) http://www.edwardburtynsky.com/

    2) Three Gorges link (bottom of left hand navigation bar)

    3) Fourth tumbnail down from top, right hand side of frame - the column of thumbnails

Three Gorges Dam Project, Dam #4 is the name of the photograph.

    Sorry 'bout that.

I've seen some of George DeWolfe's work that is very fine.

Also, Ron Landucci does beautiful work:

Ron Landucci also does beautiful work for others. He's the guy I send stuff to when I need it bigger than I can print on my own 7600. I can tell you the guy understands inkjet printing. I wish he had his stuff up on the Infinite Editions website. If it is there, I can't find it. Sigh....

"Michael Gordon is second to none. Superlative stuff. Possibly THE great B&W artist of our time."

    ??????
his art isn't even of our time. It's all entrenched in a pre-1940s idea of what landscapes might look like.
And sadly for him, he has some pretty stiff competition from that period.
