I have Morse ones in both formats. (labeled 9"x9" and 10"x20" IIRC, or is it 10"x10" and 9"x18" ?) in any event, lots of bulbs and switches !

    Re: Speed Dodge?? contact printer

I have an Arkay Speed Dodge printer. I double checked the Internet and mine has Argon filled lamps that have a very bizarre purple glow. According to the bulb nerds it produces a lot of long wave uv. I remember printing with Azo, times were short like less than 2 seconds if I remember right. The previous owner had a cryptic note pasted to the unit that said use 0.2 to 0.8 sec. exposure times. The factory timer that came as an option had range settings from 0.1 to 9.9 seconds. Thus the "Speed" moniker fit and this was with contact speed chloride based paper! I haven't used it in years but it looks Real Cool!!! Lamps have a standard medium Edison base so it would be easy to use 4W tungsten bulbs. I need to fire it up , and try it with Foma's new contact speed chloride DR paper.

    There were so many

    Most tossed as garbage

I paid $200 for this 9 years ago with broken glass

8X10 is perfect, replaced the 1/4" glass and 9 lamps with oven bulbs and added paper diffusion

    Great for multiples

    Fast throughput

    Adjustable lamp box height
