You are right, Dave. I wanted to comment but then was carried away by other stuff, so I will do it now. The wire still arrested me immediately because it reminded me of all the fascinating and largely forgotten experimental photography of the 1920s and 1930s in Europe. I think of people like Moholy-Nagy, Lissitzky, Rodschenko, Man Ray and so on. You did a great job, Dennis!

Thanks guys. It is definitely good to get some response. But then I have never responded to any image in this thread though I have looked at all of them. I apologize for not spotting the print before scanning it. It actually harkens back to a thread I started a couple months ago about the weird lines and crap I was getting on a box of Arista Ultra 200 8x10. I ended up having to spot the negative so I could then spot the print and get rid of the stuff. I started using wire as an element back in the 1980s as parts of found object still life but in the last couple of years I have done about 20 images using wire itself as the subject.
