"Daughter with Olivia, one of our White Leghorn chickens."
This is a stunning photograph of unparalleled beauty.
"We work in the dark, we do what we can, we give what we have."

"Daughter with Olivia" is not only a superb image, it gave me quite a laugh. As a grandfather, I could see the image as the start of a conversation:
Her: "Grandpa, I'll give you this chicken if you buy me a pony."
Me: "Of course! I have my credit card. How many ponies do you wish?"
I've managed to avoid such situations with my own grandchildren, but at times it has been difficult for me.

Thanks Serge, but I was very disappointed in the results. I've done better. Exposure was a bit hot and the rim lighting from behind really destroyed the hair, which I could see in front of me while setting up the lighting. Got some distortion in the arms too, for not having the right lens. I picked this camera up a year or so ago, and only have one lens for it. Development was so so as well.
Overall I rate it a C-
Thanks.
Really nice Ben. I lived in Bloomington for some 10 odd years, but that was 25 years ago!

Thanksgiving Picture with my girlfriend's family. I don't know why I was smiling so silly.
They were quite amazed by the camera.

I shot this at f/13 or so. The scan is like 400 megapixels, lol. Going to print a few of these for Christmas gifts for them. Haven't decided if I will contact print them or just do a digital print.
