epson 4800 not pulling through?

Hi, am doing a cleaning flush both my epson 4800 printers, but one has developed a problem.

It is the older of the two and it has stopped pulling ink through the pipes?

I have tried both power clean and initial ink charging routines, but to no avail?

The other one is fine and can see the flush moving through the pipes using same cartridges.

I tried removing the pipes from dampers and sucking ink through the pipes from cartridges, this works fine.


Any ideas?

Happy to get my hands dirty if i know what the cause is.

It could be a lot of things. The head and/or dampers could be clogged, the pump could've failed, the seal on the ink lines might be faulty, or there might be a problem with one of the control boards.

Thanks for reply, think i will try the clogged head damper route as was working ok before flush.

Have some dampers on order.
