    Help ARCA B1 lock up

    My B1 has locked up and I can't seem to get it to move. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hi Michael, Some B1s were manufactured with a bad collar. You may have one of these. Call Precision Cameraworks and speak with one of their technicians. Arca-Swiss, through Precision, is replacing these collars for free, if they are still near their warranty. I recently had mine replaced by Precision for free. They did a great job and I now have absolutely no problem with my B1. If you have a bad collar, no amount of untightening and fiddling with the tension knobs will help. Believe me, I tried everything before I gave up and sent it to Precision.
