Weston exhibit at the Crocker in Sacramento

The Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento is exhibiting 100 Edward Weston images starting Friday, November 5 and running through the beginning of January. Sounds like a nice retrospective spanning five decades of work. Here's a link to the museum exhibit page:

This is a do-not-miss exhibit. A wonderful set of prints. In the case of Weston, "Vintage" prints really means something. I saw this collection at the Portland, ME, art museum a while back and was simply stunned by it.---Carl

I saw this exhibit at the Allentown Art Museum in Allentown, PA. As Carl said, it's fantastic and should not be missed.

Mark, thanks for the heads up. I'm driving out to Reno from the Bay Area right after thanksgiving; looks like I'll now be stopping in Sacto along the way.

Seeing Weston's prints firsthand (a few years back at SFMOMA) is what spurred me into buying my first view camera. I never cease to draw sustenance from his work.

There is also an exhibit of E Weston work at the Portland Art Museum (Oregon) through Nov. 28. My wife and I plan to visit Nov 13.

I got to see this exhibit in Fort Worth, Texas at the Amon Carter Museum. Wonderful!
