Is there a small (or smaller then copal 3 5.6 lenses) 240mm that covers 8X10?

240mm f/9 G-Claron
240mm f/9 Docter Germinar-W
240mm f/9 Fujinon-A
250mm f/6.7 Fujinon-W (not the f/6.3)
Probably some others, these are the ones that come immediately to mind.
The Fujinon-A probably has the least coverage of this lot at 336mm, still enough to cover with modest movements.

Wow, i should have thought about the 250mm fuji earlier. its not that expensive to boot.
My Graphic Kowa 240mm f/9 covers 11x14 with room to spare and is a small lens in a Copal #1 shutter. The same lens is also available as a Computar and Kyvytar branded lens.
This was taken with a 240mm ƒ/9 Docter Germinar-W. Admittedly it's not the best image for showing detail, but it gives some idea of the lens' capability.
Despite the published specs and rumors, I find my 240A Fuji has just about as much usable image circle as my 250 G-Claron. Plenty for routine 8x10 use. The A has
a tad higher contrast. The 250/6.7 might have a tweak more image circle, but not much than these other two. The Fuji A is certainly the most compact and the best corrected overall. But all three of these, which I've personally used, are superb lenses.
9 1/2 Dagor mounts into a Copal 1. L
