I'm building a new darkroom and would like to spring for a new custom-sized sink. Online research turns up offerings by Arkay, Leedal, and California Stainless.
Does anybody have thoughts pro or con on any of these and are there other companies out there which should be considered?

Those prices are actually pretty reasonable...
I have a few of his things. All top notch. I almost had a big sink made by him, but I found a NOS 10 footer.

I second the Rosy products recommendation -- built my 6 foot ss sink, but I wish I had ordered it with a backsplash now.
I presume it will be 316L stainless. Don't opt for anything that isn't 300-grade.
His site says 304 stainless.
Works for me. I have 3 of his sinks and his current 11x14 stainless print washer. Paid $510 for all of it in excellent to NOS condition, Craigslist. 23 ft of sink.
Two suggestions: Check Craigslist and Ebay for a sink within reasonable driving distance. (I found my used stainless sink in Idaho, and picked it up in Wyoming). You might look for a local stainless fabricator and have one custom made.

I do enjoy my old Oscar Fischer stainless sink, but because I use larger trays and like the concept of open slats for a working surface that one can allow flow to the drain below your work area, my next sink will be made out of wood and covered in fiberglass using wooden dowels and biscuits instead of exposed screws in the work area. You can make it any irregular proportions you want to meet your needs. Fortunately, you have lots of options.
