RD Artar/APO Ronar - similar lens but 7" ?

Hello,

Goerz and Rodenstock never made 7" of thier famous Apo lenses - Red Dot and Ronar. I like this FL and wonder if there is 7" lens made by other lens manufacturers which gives similar singature...

Do you have any suggestion?

Goerz did make 180mm dialytes - Syntor (f6.8), Celor (f4.8) and Dogmar (f4.5). There is also a 170mm f6.3 Kodak Anastigmat.

Piotr, process lenses have minimal aberrations so don't have what I think you mean by signature. If you want a 7" lens that renders neutrally any 7" process lens will do. Fast lenses don't render neutrally, won't do what you say you want.

Dan, I meant 7" lens that renders similar image to RD Artar/Apo Ronar. I have three RD Artars but wish to have 7" fl the most.
