    I have one of those!
Argyle 14x17 process camera, to save space, I use mine as a primitive vertical enlarger.
Looks like this one has had the original vacuum back replaced with a homemade gg.
The stand on mine is aluminum, so lighter than it looks.
I've thought about adapting mine into a studio cam.

nice, wouldn't mind trying one of those out some day, maybe when I win the Lottery I can afford the 11x14 film (or 20x24) saw interesting video recently of Chuck Close shooting Vanity Fair portraits: http://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/...wood-portfolio and I believe Mary Ellen Mark shoots commissions on it.

Could be made to shoot 14x17 vertical, or 11x14 (or smaller) in vert or horiz.
You never know, the seller might even be a forum member.

for sure, I'd need a personal shopper to collect it for me, as I live across the pond, and tbh if I had enough cash for that, I'd probably just keep Richard Ritter on speed dial, get one of his 20x24 monsters and just pack it and myself into a camper van and hit the road. In all seriousness though that camera is a nice deal... D

How ironic. That honking big camera sold for $390, and less than a week ago I bought a small self-casing 4x5 for the same amount. Mine cost a ton more money, per pound. The other was a bargain!
