Hello,
I haven't shot very much large format photography or have posted very much on here; however, I have been diving into it lately and hope to contribute more in the near future.
Here is a photograph I did for a couple's engagement photo. I would like to ask you guys if you know why I am getting a shadow on my negative (on the bottom)? Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you,
Joe
The fact that you are seeing extra density in the print means that there is less density in the negative.
My guess is that this is a processing problem. How are you processing your film? I'm guessing that the end of the sheet didn't receive the same development as the rest of the sheet.
My guess is it's bellows sagging - had it with my Chamonix with the Universal bellows hanging a bit low. Since I started putting my loup between the bellows and the camera the problem vanished.
You can check it by looking at the groundglass and meanwhile pushing the bellows up.
