Are you using Epson TWAIN or Silverfast?

Make sure your calibration area is not covered by paper or transparency

If you are using a film holder, make sure that it is not sitting upside down othetwise the calibration area will be covered over and you'll end up with scans similar to yours.

This looks more like an epson driver/scan software auto correct error due to selection area.
A common problem, have you tried selecting a smaller section of film to see if the scan area gets "corrected appropriately?

To isolate whether it's the software or the hardware (very likely it's the former), download vuescan (for free) and see what you get from it. In the end, vuescan is highly recommended for serious scanning any way so might as well give it a go.

Remember to select transparency, colour negative, etc. before scanning.

    +1

Give VueScan a try, it is quite affordable and by far the best and most consistent scanning software on the market.

In the attachment I included the preview (looks fine) and the ugly scan
No, the preview does not look OK! It has a strong blue cast.
+1 on vuescan. Get a (free) trial version. If you decide to buy it, I recommend the pro version (lifetime updates)
Make sure you select color negative as input medium in the first tab (input).
In the crop tab, make sure the crop area selected for the actual scan does not include any part outside the actual image area.
In the color tab, select auto white balance to start with (later you can learn more sophisticated techniques, like balancing from a gray card shot). Don't waste time with choices for films in the color tab, just take generic color negative; your problem is far bigger than the distinctions between various films.
And, please report back to the people who gave advice here.

    Corto,

Haven't heard a follow-up from you. Did you get it figured out? The advice from Regular Rod was very specific, and should have addressed the mechanics of scanning with the 750.

Rather than switching to a third party scan software package, I suggest sticking with the Epson software first so that you don't introduce too many other variables into your problem. You could download the latest Epson Scan software from their website, but I would stick with the Epson software until you get appropriate results.

If you've got it fixed, please let us know. Thanks!

The Epson Scan Software saves its settings. I've solved one problem resetting completely.
