This is not the survey, it's a discussion of what we want the survey to be.

APUG's ended at 2012, maybe things have changed.

I want to step out of the way and let ideas percolate for a week or so, then I will attempt to make a survey.

Heck I don't even know how to make a survey here.

I have used Survey Monkey in the far past.

It fits nicely Randy with Ilford/Harmans new Local Darkroo intiative. I've signed up and will offer darkroom rental and tuition, my new house will have a separate darkroom with 3 permanent enlargers and two additional when needed all formats to 10x8, colour and B&W plus a UV light source contact printing set up.

So how many use your darkroom, would you be prepared to share it is a useful question, and maybe point people to the Ilford local darkroom initiative. If we want affordable film and darkroom materials we need to be encouraging new users.

I am listed with Ilford, but the other effort near me, their location pin obliterates mine. Not a soul has contacted me and I was there day one.

I think the site needs greater publicity.

I suggest getting on to the survey. Start simple then add another survey to expound upon the the first. If you make it too long and complicated it will lose its meaningfulness.

Don't worry it's already too big.

If anybody wants to take over feel free, but announce it, so we don't duplicate efforts.

I agree with you Randy, there are already too may questions to ask on a survey.
So this is just an idea, but come up with 3 or so basic but important questions for the survey. Then. Just have us all make additional notes on what we feel is important.
If possible have it set up so we can make unlimited edits to our posts so we can make changes if we think of adding something, or as our collections change.

Sorry, I can not help out with it. I am on the road with no internet access more often than not these days.
