I've got one of Cemils 5X7 heads adapted to an old Omega E6. Very good. I want to send him my Zone VI VC head that doesn't hold consistent color across the face and get him to install LEDs in it, but haven't quite talked him into that project.

Richard Ritter says we should be able to get someone who makes neon lights to be able to replace them. (I read this in a post somewhere else). However with the money I would put into replacement bulbs, I'd rather put it towards an LED head. I'd jump on Alan's conversion of the VC LED head, but I'd rather put that investment towards a 5x7 LED head. I may however break down and do it anyways. The OP is inquiring about 8x10 replacement tubes. From what I've seen LED would be a smart investment. I've done separate printing sessions and the times are inconsistent with my VC cold head. I don't think there is a warm up time with the LED head and the iPhone/iPad/iPod app is a brilliant alternative to a traditional timer!
