    HC-110 syrup turned orange

Not just a light orange. It's almost as dark as residue.
The bottle is now 6 month old. It's my first bottle ever so I'm a little insecure.
There are still 150ml left in the 1l bottle.

Last weekend I still developed the pics below. I feel like the roll is exposed well but with a higher contrast / less tonality.
But then again, I did push the film and all exposures were taken indoors with low light.

I'm really not sure. What's your experience with HC-110?

I love the convenience of HC-110, to be quite honest. Grain pattern is fine too, but I've found I prefer printing from Pyrocat negatives in the darkroom. They just have something a bit "different" that seems to be lost when using HC-110. But if HC-110 was my only option, I'd happily use it and maximize its potential.

Your shots look fine to me, nice ratio of lighting btw, and well framed to show the subject/atmosphere(library?)

I'd say you're on the right track here.

My experience is that it lasts forever and doesn't change. It does suppress the shadows a little, IMHO, compared to some other developers.

I remember mine turning really dark brown, and having it still perform the same.

It works when it's more or less black. Worry not!

Thanks! That's in the Hard Rock Cafe in Brussels. A while later a huge load of hot nachos arrived!
