    Agfa X-Ray

I have finally found some X-Ray film over here (in Belgium) and bought these directly from the main dealer of Agfa in Belgium (after contacting Agfa themselves, they called me, very surprised about my request for info and the use I intended and very helpful).

    1x3W693 AGFA HT-G 18X24cm 100Nif: € 26,84
    1xEASUFAGFA CP-G Plus 18x24cm (NIF100) € 19,98

without really knowing what to expect, but since the price is for 100 sheets in a pack (so I bought 200 sheets), I can't go wrong very far ...

I've read on the forum quite some info about Fuji and Kodak films, but not about Agfa. Has anybody an idea about developing these ? I normally use Xtol, but also have Rodinal and HC-110. Any advice on dilutions, development time, etc ... The people at Agfa Belgium couldn't help me there, because they don't use it for "normal" photography ...

    Thanks,
    Stefan.

    Hi Stefan,
I can't help with times or anything but could you let us have Agfa's address. Those are good prices (especially if you live in Rip Off Britan).
    Thanks,
    Pete.

I didn't use these types of film, but i develop Fuji HR-U x-ray film in Rodinal 1+100 for 6 minutes. This should give you a starting point.

You can see some of my pictures with this combination in this article: http://kwerfeldein.de/2011/07/16/anl...10-lochkamera/ (scroll down a bit, pictures come after the pinhole part).

    Re: Agfa X-Ray

I started with Fuji HR-T then switched to Agfa (I don't recall the exact one). I find the Agfa has nicer tonality, and doesn't scratch as easily. Effective film speed seems to be about half of that of the Fuji. I will never go back to Fuji so long as I can find Agfa, I am willing to pay substantially more for it.
