Stone, the size of the film is 4x3 1/4. It is not panchromatic, blue sensitive I think. The lens is a Petzval design.
Very nice tones and focus Grzegorz
Christo, the one on the table is. The rest are lemons and mandarines. I couldn't remember what they're called.

Thanks, had never head of it. So blue sensitive, must be lemons, likes would be brighter I think if it's blue sensitive right?

    Thanks for the info.

Here's a comparison of films and lenses.
First, Isco Gottingen Kiptar 180mm f3,1 / Kodak Electron

    Second, Wollensak Velostigmat 7¼ f5,6 / Foma 100

Is the center brightness of the first image the lens? Or is it the sensitivity of the film? Or lighting change?

I really like that blue sensitive film, where do you find it? I'm going to google...

I think it is more darkening of the edges due to the lens not covering. It could also be the compound shutter i used in front of the lens.

    Ramiro,
I do prefer the second one. I have to say that the last still-life/household pictures that you posted are so very good.

    Cheers,

    Luc

PS: could you send us some blood oranges here in Canada. I missed so much oranges and mandarins from Spain...

Thank's Luc, me too. The effect from the film is nice for certain images but you get tired of the funkiness after a few.

    Re: Still-Life Images, 2014

If you don't have anything red, orange or yellow in the photo there is no funkiness.

I was testing that same film with tungsten lights tonight. (It looks like EI 6 is about right.) Oddly, when the film was in the wash it exhibited what I can only describe as a wet plate effect. I saw something like this once when I grossly underexposed some Tech Pan, but it was not this pronounced. The first photo below shows the negative scanned, inverted and processed in Photoshop as usual, the second is a shot of the same sheet of film in the tray of water.

    Toyo 45A, 210mm Sironar-N, Kodak Electron Image Film (SO-163).
