The picture was made with a Zero Image 6x12 pinhole camera. The angle of view on this thing is ridiculous; I was so close to the limo I could almost reach out and touch it. I'm still trying to get a handle on composing, but in any case, a little unpredictability is fine. I think that's why I bought it, to try and bring a little "play" back into my photography.

Sweet. I actually have the same camera (as well as the Zero image 4x5)... it's been a while since I've used it. Now I'm inspired.

Austin, at first I was thinking maybe you had bought the 30mm lens for your XPan, but that was because I looked on my phone and I couldn't see the telltale softness from the pinhole. I like it! I've always liked your pinhole images - I was looking through the f/D Book of Pinhole again and admiring your image of the boat skeleton on a beach.

Anyway, this past evening something I knew would happen sooner or later did - an extremely heavy rain hit while I was way out in the woods, without any shelter or umbrella or anything. It really came down hard for almost an hour but luckily I had the best camera for the job - Pali's 3D-printed panoramic camera. Luckily I had a fresh roll of film loaded right as it hit. I could hear the roar of the rain coming for 30 seconds. The trail out was flooding even. Of course I went ahead and shot some photos...
