Oh, that's perhaps the prettiest yet, Austin! You captured the atmosphere of Venice in a unique and very appropriate manner, I think. Your images convey the quietness that we also found off the beaten tourist track last year when we visited the place.
I hear you! I'd love to spend a couple of days with a tripod and some ting 6x6 or 4x5 (or even 8x10...) on the various islands. Actually, it would be one of those dreams that's probably never going to materialize, but still nice to ponder: go to Italy (any part of the country really) and set up a temporary darkroom for a month or maybe two.
Yes, I'd like to visit there in the winter with my view camera and lots of time. It sounds like we both need a wealthy patron to fund us. Anybody out there? :-)
