Very sad to say, no, we went before the TT, because my wife needs to do some research there, and everything was booked and over budget for the month surrounding the TT. I looked into renting a bike, but the cost was high, and I decided to rent a car for three days of photography, rather than one day on a motorcycle. I did drive the course in my rented Fort Escort however, and I can tell you it is very impressive. People were clearly practicing while I was there, and one sport bike blew by me at very high speed.
Here's the Creg-Ny-Baa turn, where I had dinner in the famous pub (iPhone photo):
Thanks for the update. I have watched hours of footage from the TT and will never get there, nor Lemans. I should have done both when I was young. But there is plenty I shoulda...
If you are ever in Wisconsin, please consider http://www.roadamerica.com/. I have been going there since 1967, a really beautiful course, location and area. Never too crowded and there is always a hotel room in Milwaukee or closer.

Thanks Randy. My days of long trips are probably behind me, but thanks for the suggestion. It was great to be on the Isle of Man, where everyone is fluent in motorcycles. It's still a bit chilly here in Western Massachusetts, and I'm clearly jet-lagged today, but I hope to take a nice ride on my own bike in a day or two.
David, Is this a reversed scan? The cars seem to be on the wrong side of the road. Enjoy yourself!
Here's my girlfriend. Made the print in our kitchen earlier this year.
