Nice idea, but if I may suggest:
    • The background, even if out-of focus, is sort of random and distracting
    • You might try to have something "interesting" (e.g. a tree, a house) reflected in the sunglasses; the shape on the right is not recognizable

    Did you use a paramender?

An exquisite photograph! Very nice. Good use of 2 bath development.

    Thanks a lot, Paul!
Yes, the 2 bath handled that range very well. There is a lot detail in the blacks on the negative in fact, I pushed it in the processing a bit to get stronger contrast.

What do you mean by "pushing it"? You list the times in A and B as 4 minutes for each. That's not pushing at all.

Sorry for the wrong word chosen. I meant I "pushed" the shadows down in post-processing.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that the background is distracting and no, I did not use a paramender. I found the lenses on the street on top of a power box on a telephone pole. I shot it handheld, attempting street photography style :-) It was hard not to have my reflection on the glasses, even if I tried.

Foma, Fomapan Classic 100. Mamiya C33 on tripod.
This is from a friend's summer cottage. I have a "photo fetish" with kettles :-)

Oh, I see! Yes, I get it now, thanks. Good work, great image.
