300 million years of geology on display, amid a vertical drop of 2,000 feet to the Colorado river below.
Interesting fact: The white ribbons in the canyons are old mining roads from the 50s, when the US Government was on the hunt for uranium veins. Those would carry heavy mining and exploration equipment throughout the canyon.
