I like the second one very much. Quite often I think a little "natural" perspective is helpful to avoid completely flattening the image, and in this case the low angle and slight upward convergence of vertical lines are pluses not minuses. I am guilty of often trying to use camera movements simply because I can, but there are times when they can detract rather than add to an image. Knowing when to refrain is not always easy--unless you use a camera devoid of them, of course.
