Looking for a repairman/cam maker for a Crown Graphic in the UK

I've had my Pacemaker with a top mount rangefinder for a few years now but always used the GG. I'm looking to have a cam made for my 152mm Komura and have the rangefinder r&r'ed so I can start doing more handheld styled images.
Does anyone know anybody who could do the work in the UK?

    thanks
    Rob

I'd love to have the time to make one, I read up on them but I also need it all checked over anyhow since it seems like there might be a part or two missing from the mechanism itself.
    Thanks though

If you here I could help more
You find the Crown in a great camera I have had my crown since new 1973 I use the cam that Graphic install.
I have use Ken.com for lens , board and Focusing Scales. I never change the cam I just use the focusing scales.

Try your local paper they use this type of camera and may know how work press cameras

    Thanks Dave
Been shooting professionally for almost 30 years now and have a pretty good understanding of the entire Graflex camera line (I've owned a few in the past as well).
I don't think there is a soul left in any newspaper who even knows how to load a 35mm let alone a Graflex :O
I'm guessing you meant KEH not KEN for the boards and stuff.
I'm looking for someone like SK Grimes but in the UK
    thanks again

    Dave,

That is the funniest thing I have read here since I joined this forum!

I SERIOUSLY doubt if any local newspaper still uses a Crown/Speed Graphic. Most of those of us who did have died or retired.

As a matter of fact, I may be one of the few working editorial photographers who used (and still uses) all the technology - from 4x5 to 2¼ to 35mm to DSLR cameras.

    Rob, ask over on
    www.fadu.co.uk
It's full of film shooters, and someone there might know a repairman. There is the UK large format forum, but good luck get a straight answer to anything there.
