Hi. Has anyone used a 450mm fujinon c on a Phillips 4x5 before. I was wondering if such a wonderfully small and compact camera had the bellows extension to accommodate such a focal length. Thanks

I've only used the 450C on my Compact II and 11x14 Explorer. I never mounted it on the 4x5 Phillips you have, so can't answer directly. However, the 450C's flange focal length is 425.3mm, so you'd need at least that much bellows to focus it at infinity. Extend the bellows fully, measure and you'll know.
FYI, while Dick Phillips' last production 4x5s offered more rise and folded a bit thinner, one thing they gave up was some extension. If memory serves, my newer one stretches out very roughly 15mm less than yours. So, if you "see" long, the early production was optimum.
Yes, the Phillips 4x5 will easily permit infinity focus of the Fujinon 450 C. See
