Here's one of mine, my first time shooting 8x10 Impossible Project film. My rim light ended up blowing out one side of my head but I'm OK with it... It's hard setting up lights when you are the subject! Lens is a 300mm Konica GRII process lens.

Great self-portrait, Anthony, and that IP film looks really nice.
One I did this evening, 4x5 field camera, 305 repro claron, Hp5
"WOW! Now thats a big camera. By the way, how many megapixels is that thing?"
Kav are you the guys that had to use the three wheel bike to pick up parts while in afghanistan? I read in an after action report about using a 3 wheeler to go and get parts for planes.Originally Posted by

Er.. whoops you are right it was a kicker, not a rim. I had a grid on it but it still spilled over the side of my head more than I wanted. I should have kept it simple with just the one umbrella I used for key and a piece of white foam to reflect some fill.
I used a string with a piece of tape on it to set focusing distance, measured using a light stand as a stand-in. I put a one of those bellows factor discs on the light stand so I could set focus and adjust my exposure at the same time. You can see my glasses are sharp but actually my eyes are not quite sharp. This was shot at about f19.
