I knew this was a stupid thing to do, but it worked for 5 years and I actually forgot it was on there: used a brass 1/4 - 3/8 converter to mount a tripod plate on the 'Dorff and upon removal it broke, with part of it seized in there.
It's below the flush surface. No amount of screwdriver coaxing will move it. Do I need to get a tap & die set or has anyone got any bright ideas?? If I DID go the re-tap route, does anyone know the thread size?
