Lads & Ladies,
You know that soft fluffy microfibre type stuff lowepro and lightware etc line their cases with? I want to buy it by the yard. Anyone know what it's called and/or where i can get some?
Thank you!

It's sometimes referred to as Velcro-compatible knit. I don't know of any specific source for it, but I would try either fabric shops or possibly haberdashers.
I don't know how thick & large you want, but Target has micro-fiber toweling in the automotive dept. real cheap.

Have you visited your local fabric shop? Here the chain store is "Joanna's Fabrics". They will have a multitude of fabrics to chose from and you will be surprised how many are modern fabrics.
Jo ann fabrics sells headliner fabric (for cars) that I used for my pack. I used headliner adhesive to stick it on. Velcro compatible.
Thanks everybody for your ideas!
I decided to buy a "plush microfibre blanket" off eBay and cut to size. I don't need it to grab velcro: It's for a shipping crate for a crystal sculpture I made. I just wanted something to protect it from scratches and not give off any lint.
Gonna wrap the cut material around a sandwich of ply and EVA foam and staple it into dividers. With the interior walls, cover foam w microfibre and staple to the ply.
Appreciate your input!!

You want to buy Veltex. It is the same material that is used for making displays and cubicles. Here is a link - they sometimes have partial rolls if you do not want to buy a full roll.

Thanks Michael: that's definitely the right stuff! I'll be doing this again and will get veltex for sure.
Thanks for the link!
