As of grain - it depends on processing and whole other set. Sometime i do get very grainy results, when pushing it too far, and sometime you really hard pressed to see any. But i dont really do grain/noise cleaning (even with digitals) nor go after pixels on 400mp scans, so i like it either way :P

Let's be brave. Here's one of me taken by my lovely assistant. I was trying to explain about rear tilt and converging verticals when the patience started wearing thin and it was time to take a picture. She had to tilt the camera because I am significantly taller than her, so that's what that's all about. Another very low density negative, slightly underexposed. f/3.2 Petzval. 1 second exposure on Ilford FP4+ 5x7. Expanded development in Pyrocat HD by a couple of minutes because the exposure was cut short by about 3/4 of a second (can't blame her, the shutter is one of her hats). Scanned on an office scanner, the hairs and fibers are from me or the book it was stuffed in.
Oh yeah, focus is perfect on my ears.Bound to be perfect somewhere!
