    My greatest enjoyment is working with the people which is tough to do with LF.

    The photo of the man on the wood pile is the late moonshiner Popcorn Sutton. Popcorn was slated to go to federal prison and was under house arrest at this time. This was the last time I saw Popcorn before he took his life before returning to prison.

    Rodenstock Geronar 150mm F6.3 lens in a Copal 0 shutter
    1/30th @ F45
    Arista EDU 100 Ultra film rated at ISO 64
    Self Developed in Kodak Xtol 1:2 in Paterson Universal Tank using the Taco Method. 9 minutes @ 20 degrees Celsius, tap water stop bath, Ilford Rapid Fixer, Photo-Flo.

    I know that barn well, I used to see it all the time when I took care of my grand dad in the mid 80's. I probably have a couple of 35mm shots of it somewhere.

    I enjoyed looking at all the shot in this thread. Love to drive on the back roads of anywhere USA. Sorry to say quite a few of this material is gone.

    Train bridge in Weldon, NC along Rt 158 in northern North Carolina.



    Graflex series D 4x5, HP5, can't remember the lens...perhaps the 190mm Anastigmat that came on the camera.
