Two 16"x20" tintypes. Not sure which way to go with these ones.

I think this was made in April of 1982 from the log book record, but just printed it for the first time yesterday! 4X5 with TX I'm sure. Judy was and is a friend of mine. She's not currently and active photographer but a local museum is doing a interactive digital piece about her signature work "My Town."

Great traditions make for great portraits! I think the camera found a good home...

    What lens was that?

Ben: I really like your second portrait of Lindsay (the black background); between her and Tesla you have two very photogenic models, and your work takes full advantage of that (a clumsy way of saying that not only are the models attention-grabbing, your photographic skill is an equal component).

Thanks, Peter! I feel like all my practice and hours of looking through vintage portraits and other photographs is paying off with more consistent results. Having attractive models, even complete novices like Tesla and Lindsay, certainly doesn't hurt. In some ways it's even better because it gives you some practice working with people who may either be uncomfortable in front of the camera, or at least who are a bit unsure of the massive old studio cameras.
