This is an atonishing image !!!!
I'd like to ask you some questions...
The trails show al long exposure
What exposure time and compensation ?
I see a pink cast in the bright points, did you use some red filtration to compensate cyan shift, or simply it was a result from postprocess when compensating that shift, as lights would not have as much cyan shift for long exposures... ??
Thanks in advance, Regards

Thanks Pere,
I exposed the image for roughly 30 minutes at F/22. I didn't bother to do any film reciprocity compensation as I figured 30 minutes at that aperture was enough to at least capture the city skyline. I was hoping for more star trails but light pollution tends to blot out most of them in a scene like this. Although I did capture more than I could see with the naked eye.
The pink cast was from postprocessing, I didn't notice it until you pointed it out. I have since corrected it.

I don't really know what I'm doing when it comes to night shots. But I tried. And didn't get such a bad shot. I have more ideas for the neighborhood night shots. Pretty soon the city puts xmas lights all over the place.

ericantonio: Nice result! I like the geometry of it, the composition and the DoF. Looking forward to more...
