Got my process down for 8x10 positives. Shot some test images and got this one of the Christmas lights in the public square.

Wehman UL 8x10, 6" Metrogon @f/22, ~5 minute exposure, on very, very old Fuji RTP (1994 I think it was).
Thanks guys! I am glad I finally sat down and worked through what I needed to do for 8x10 "slides." Looks much better on the light table. Will be shooting a lot more of this kinda thing here soon.

Nice shot Bill, and that's quite a nice-looking building...
With a bit more confidence in the film and processing, I shot 7 sheets of Fuji RTP out on the square. Been up all night developing them. Here's two more shots from Downtown Dahlonega, still with my Wehman 8x10 but this time shot with my Nikkor 120mm f/8 (the second shot cropped to 3:5):
As it happens, while setting up the second shot I saw a city vehicle pull into a nearby parking spot, and someone start to come my way. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was actually the city manager, very curious as to what I was doing. Had a nice conversation, showed him the ground glass, and got his number. There is a wonderful balcony overlooking the square above the Visitor's Center, which he said he'd be very happy to let me shoot from on another night! A lucky, chance encounter.
These are really amazing Bryan! Nice to see some night time 8x10 images which seem very rare.

Thanks Pali! It's been fun, and challenging, to do.
Here's one more I just scanned of the museum and old courthouse, but with a 300mm f/5.6 Symmar and heavy use of tilt:
And, one more storefront:
