You can use them to do prints, which is what many do. You have "original" negative or positive and then it used to do prints of choosing.
I would imagine, given process that TT uses this is plate shot at same time, but as positive, and negative one was used to make print posted before.

Tri, So this flower shot was NOT taken with wetplate collodion, right? It's an enlarged collodion print, of a film negative, projected onto the plate?
