This is overlooking the Waldo Canyon, the site of a devastating fire last summer and very near my old home.
Summit County CO - learned that my meter did not perform properly in this cold resulting in a badly underexposed negative which I've pulled back to life a bit in scanning. I now work for the company that owns the two ski resorts visible in this photo.
Southern California doesn't have much in the way of winter bit it was a little below freezing here:
