New from NH

Hello all - so glad to have found this forum!

Hoping to make my return to LF photography

Equipment is quite meager at the moment:

Calumet CC-400 w/o lens

Front and back standards and part of bottom of a Century 2D 8x10 - word to the wise - when you go through a breakup and are restoring a camera, be sure you have ALL the parts before you leave!

Currently a plumber by day and a PT wedding photog (12-15 weddings a year)

LF experience - the Calumet and a Zone VI during most of the 90's - purchased a complete, disassembled 2D - the plan was to shoot 8x10 and make contact prints - until life got in the way

Welcome. Lots of experience here...and I'm not talking about myself. I guess you fit in, since you broke conventional barriers being a plumber and a 'tog.

I wanted to take a minute to thank everyone for the wonderful response to my WTB post and also for the warm welcome.

What a refreshing forum compared to most of the others I belong to.
