Re: Kodak Rapid Color Processor Model 30

Joe- I just came across your March post. I have used the Model 30 processor from about 1985 until last year. Your are right about the Jobo comparison except for the print size. The temperature...

I had used both versions of the Cambo wide for decades, with the longest lens being 90mm. Eventually I wanted to use the 150mm lens on the Cambo Wide DS . Soon, I saw the need for...
  3. Re: Gossen Multibeam Attachment For SBC -- Accuracy/Sensitivity ??

I used this attachment years ago, and found that it worked accurately. I later purchased a Minolta Spotmeter M. It was probably more accurate and could be pointed at the desired reading area with...

Re: 6x12 Backs - Horseman or Sinar Zoom or ?

Horseman backs are very compact and much faster to load than Sinar Zoom 2 backs. The ability to change formats is a welcome advantage offered by the Sinar. I have used the same Horseman holders since...

    Re: 6x12 with movements (tilt)

I always use 6x12 Format roll film backs on 4x5 Cameras. I have two Horseman backs which I like just fine. Vastly superior to the Calumet back, and results are comparable to the Sinar Zoom 2 holders...

Re: Lenses for a 6x9 back?

Virtually all of my work is done with the 6x12 Format Roll film holders on a Cambo Wide DS . Quite often I would stop my 72mm Super Angulon XL to F 45 and then produce enlargements up to 40x60". I...

    Re: Nikon 360mm f8/500mm f11 Nikkor T-ED

I have the lens already and thought that having the 720 rear element assembly
would be a useful option and take up little space at the same time. So I would stick with the Nikon lens.

    Nikon 360mm f8/500mm f11 Nikkor T-ED

Would consider buying the lens element for the 720 Focal length if I can use it on a Techika. Any thoughts? Any source for purchase?
  9. Re: Linhof Technika recessed lens board and fresnel question.

As for the fresnel lens, I found that I had to remove it for accurate focusing. What have other fresnel users found in their practice? If it isn't a super angulon lens, I don't use a fresnel. The...
  10. Re: Linhof Technika recessed lens board and fresnel question.

I had used an earlier recessed board for a 150mm Symmar, but when I bought the new APO Symmar L, the rear element would not clear the lens board and I had to find a replacement. Bob convinced me to...

Re: Suggestions for 300-360mm for 4x5

I tried a recent 360 Tele Arton and found color fringing and insufficient sharpness

    Re: Really? $11000?

I am going to assume that the second to last bid of US $11,227.00 was the bid that cleared the reserve, assuming that this was a reserve auction. If it wasn't a reserve auction, then there were two...
  16. Re: Newbe Linhof Technika V lensboard question.

The recessed board is required if you prefer to keep the 150mm lens in place when you
fold up the camera. It will also allow the bellows to be further extended away from the camera housing,...

    Re: Sinar F

you might want to bid on extra rail components so that you can use longer lenses. Certainly with the standard rail, you can put on a 150. A 90 or 75 would be a good lens for WA.
