Martin, I don't think that it works because you get density diverences just before and after the spacers.

@mamanton: What did you asked Mr. Heiland to change in the software?
Good to know, I was'nt aware of these new control units.
As far as I know the Heiland LED source won't work without the SplitGrade Controller.
The 2800 series are printdrums and for film you need the 2500 drums.
Multitank 5 - 2553. Not the Multitank 2 they are also with the ridges.
In Germany Moersch Chemie.
Tanol and Finol both staining developers.

Did you asked Herr Seynsche? He is the man who serviced the Jobo ATL machines in Germany.

Whooow! Nice print.
If I subscribe now for a year do I get the magazines #1 to #3 also in the box?
Or is my subscription only valid for the numbers published from now on?
Because I like to have also the first issues....
Very kind, thank you for this excellent service.
Thanks Bob,
It is an Master Technika 3000.
Hello Bob,
I am looking after the year made of this Linhof Technika with serial # C 54 24 17.
Thanks.
You are living in Germany?
In that case the best for replacement parts for Jobo is: http://www.fotolaborservice.de/
He is also the man behind the new intoduced Jobo CPP3.
Filterpackage is the same as for the Omega.
You can make your own testnegative (Zone V) with a density of 0.72 and from there a testprint with a density as described in the manual at 0.75.
It's better to use the film size you are working with...
It's not the meaning of that type of enlager to work fully manual.
The best way to operate is calibrating the system to get a nice .70 gray reference print from a testnegativ with a .70 gray patch....
@Robert: I agree with you. That's also my way of working.
When you have find the right color balance and exposer time for the smaller print then it is easy to blow up to a 16x20 or so. To avoid...
Why?
I don't see any problem.
I use the Tech V without the cam inside and it works.
Just press a little bit harder when you push the standard back.
Then the cranck will swing to the mid position.
The original Promicrol from M&B...
Polyforte Warmtone FB.
Just some thaughts, could it be that the film sheet are separated by a paper layer in the box. I am thinking about moisture, maybe. Because the pattern is so evenly?
The best tanks for that will be the Expert drums. Known as #3005.
Trebla RA4 and C41 is fine. Professional labs use them in their equipment.
I used these developer at my home darkroom for a while no problems at all. Some small changes in color correction.
Do I understand you well? Do you have a 8*10" sheet developed in 2830 a tank?
In these tanks are ribs which potentially places additional agitation that can lead to development problems. I don't...
It seems to me that you made a mistake in the used filterpack.
Don't use all of the 3 colors to make corrections.
Normaly you only need Yellow and Magenta to manage the colorcast.
3 filters works...
I work many many years with the 3063 Drums on the Jobo CPP and also on the ATL.
With FB prints I never discovered any problem at all. Try to find a size that fixes between the ridges. Scratching...
Take a small piece of (35mm) film, dip it in the dev. If after 1:00 or 1:30 min. the emulsion is not turning black then the dev is not working well. Dump it.
Ilfosol is famous about its sudden...
My experiences are in the same matter. Dev-times aroud the 7:30 - 8:00 min. are not unusual.
50-60 Rpm's are to fast for a expert drum?
Jobo recommend a speed around the 25 rpm or slowest speed...
when inserting a sheet move this to the end of each slot then it's fixed by the some cams inside the grooves.
Go for the ProcesMaster.

Filmproccessing in the 1500 series tanks are not suitable for the 4*5" film size. Only 35mm and 120 spool. Paper at that size or greater is anothher story.
Try them;

Are there any of you who have expiriences with the Benro Carbon tripods?
Especially durability and stability. Prefered model perhaps.
Thanks Bob nice service.
Question for Bob Salomon in case of a Linhof Technika, I think its a number V but I am not sure, with #2191158.
If you also know when it's build than I am completely happy.
Thanks for your time.
...
Yes, I am also a real Tukker and live now in Stork City...:)
