It's not a shore. It's an overlook looking down. 3/4 mile hike. You can get right to the edge. No fence. Shadows can be deep. It's a beautiful site.
Well a few years ago they, the indians, decided they didn't want to be called Anasazi. It's always something new.

Now this is a nice easy and beautiful hike.
You've once again got my admiration, Erik. It was all I could do hiking in there with my digital without a tripod. You're a better man then me.
White Sands, N.M.
No kidding! Meet George Jetson. Just think of all the fun, advances, money and trouble we could have gotten into 40 years ago with today's technology. Of course my 68 Formula Firebird 450 with...
Can't understand why everyone's not jumpin' at this idea. Temp drops two degrees and no one is ever seen again, least of all the lucky person hiking back from the cars.
In front of Clint Eastwood's home in Carmel. He did not come out and invite me in for coffee.
Nope, I was there last week. I gotta say anyone who can get the LF camera and tripod up to it is a better man then me. 150 feet up slickrock, and it's called slickrock for a reason. My thanks to...
You are a tougher photographer than I am. I hate Midwest winters.
I was there in 1995 and an employee asked me if I wanted to see some prints. I said sure but I couldn't afford to buy. He said no problem and I spent the next hour looking at print after print,...
B-17 cockpit.
Flew to Japan for a three year tour in 1958 on a MATS Connie. I was 6 years old, and my dad was in SAC. I got to ride in the cockpit. Thanks for the memories!
I have seen and bought lots of books on Amazon. Dagor77 will sell a book for upwards of 60 some dollars on ebay and I've gotten the same book on Amazon for 3.00 plus 3.99 s/h.
Craig did this body of work many evenings in the machine shop late at night after the heat was turned off. In February! In Racine, Wisconsin! For those of you who have never had the pleasure of...
You're right Brian. When I worked in the ER we had to use a Polaroid camera. This was before digital and film was suspect. Now digital is used.
I'm sure they did but I'm a sucker for these kinds of pictures.
I had a big damn dog attack me once. I had the "lightweight" one with the good metal feet. Nuff said, problem solved. I found the lightweight to be fine for the 8x10. The cord was handy most...
When I had this model I usually collapsed at the legs from exhaustion. That held it in place.
Loaded Firefox and it works. Thanks to all.
I was able to click on Unified View and get all the new posts in all except Community. Now I can't. I get "sorry no mathes" What happened???
I used one alot and always found the rail poking me the throat a pain in the butt (neak?). But that's just me, bitch bitch bitch about everything.
Yeah I meant Basalt because Aspen is so darn expensive. The last time I went to the ghost town Ashcroft they'd put stupid signs all over the place. I lugged the camera up to Dream lake and just...
This is an outstanding park for picture making with the LF. Crowds will be a little higher in July and the peaks may not have as much snow. There are many turnoffs to park and photograph. Hikng is...
Craig, this is one of your photographs, isn't it?
That's funny.
Gee, and they love me using digital, so who cares who hates digital.
Or use Fred Pickers Zone VI film developer timer which adjusts for temp change. This has been out since the 1980s and works well. Problem solved and you don't have to worry or think about this...
Taos, NM
Talk talk talk. Let see some naked women!
Oh good grief.
Old World Wisconsin. I was up to my butt in snow, but I love suffering for my art!
Mine are on the way.
I have one with the plates for sale. PM me.
I'm in this year. I'd also like to urge everyone to send Darr 10 prints so she gets a print from everyone for herself. This is ALOT of work and she deserves a print from everyone.
