I'll second the Rollei Digibase idea. Some people report an amazing capacity of working solutions. I've some on order to do a bit of a test.

Wow. That is still an expensive project. Here in the UK 300 sheets would be knocking on for £900, possibly £800 with a bargained discount.
How do you plan to finally display these pics?
Richard
Been looking into this myself recently. I think c41 these days is a pretty straight foreward process and one that probably pays to do exactly what it says in the chemistry instructions.
I've had...
Hi all
At some point in the near future I'm planning on processing 5x4 sheets of 100 and 400 colour neg film myself.
I've had experience in c41, but dip and dunk, and 25 years ago. I'm assuming...
Foma 100. It's the best (worst)
Depending on what you want the finished scan for it might be an idea to make a darkroom print a bit on the soft side, and scan that.
Currently Foma 100 in sheet with FP4 close.
Delta 400 in 120 with Delta 100 close.
Delta 400 in 35mm.
I think a lot of us use a range of different films, and it's often...
Pete.
Know what you mean about the bellows attatchment. I had an Omega auto focus enlarger - like the MPP in many ways - a D3 I think. It came with the bellows device. I tried to fit this on to the...
I've got one too!. I'ts a decent enough enlarger if you can line it all up OK. The cold light has warming up issues, although non too serious if it's warmed up before exposure. Mine also has a...
These 2509 reels. I to have been irritated with weird density issues using them. So now, like you I dev 8 sheets, not 12, and do away with the black plastic wings. Very even negs, tons better than 12...
My times are shorter than that. I use ID-11 @1+2 with FP4, same methods, and get times between 10.5 and 12 mins.
I think the only real very very minor downside of some earlier(?) Titans is a lack of spirit levels, but I do like the shiney metal focusing/locking controls. I know folks can be sometimes...
I dont quite get this coverage thing. The 65/8 as said by many, will only just cover the corners of 5x4. I know this is a figure quoted by Schneider. and I'm sure they came up with it for good...
Theres a nice wide angle with the RB stuff, also the other RB lenses are both very sharp. I'd go though with both outfits because of that.
Using both Fidelity and Toyo I've found doing long exposures the Fidelity comes out tops. For some reason with the Toyo's the film is prone to 'popping' in the middle of the short edge on the hinged...
I have an SF and it wont close with a lens on. Not like the good old days when folding cameras had a large round hole in the baseboard just under the lens.
I'd second the inversion-agitation for 120
Good responses. I did suspect that AA had a major influence here - maybe he wasnt that good at developing negs! (only kidding). At college we had all condensor heads apart from colour, and on...
Kodak. Anyone ealse noticed a different look to it? Maybe its a Uk/Europe thing.
Gem. Are you enjoying a whiskey there?
Actually the bottle label is a slightly different design. I've always liked the idea that of all the photo stuff I buy, very few things looked the same for years. Bottles of KRST have looked the same...
I've got a 65/8 super angulon with centre filter that requires an extra 1.5 stops. I suppose that means the corners and sides would get 1.5 stops or thereabouts less exposure than the centre if it...
This bottle came from Silverprint in the UK, and I have to say I do trust them.
Just been to have a sniff and the ammonia smell nearly took my head off.
Looking at threads it seems a lot of enlarger users change light source that way round. How many have gone the other way round and swaped a diffused light for a condensor? or is that condenser? must...
Just bought another bottle and the new fluid is a pale green/yellow colour. All the bottles I can remember have always had a very clear liquid in them. Blue would have been nicer.
I like a dark cloth fixed round the camera back, it seems a good way to stop light coming up from the ground and being a bit distracting. It also has to be able to be whipped off quickly and stuffed...
The only things I can think of using your set-up are not putting the lid of the tank on properly with the red ring, and the other is not having the centre column in the tank. One sure way of knowing...
Did a few tests myself, and found this film (to my liking) is around 64iso, dev'd in a Jobo, ID-11 1+2, 20c 8.5 mins, for an average. Also did a metered 2min exposure for 5mins that came out pretty...
Peter
They do really just pull out. After pulling mine out I found they had a bit of some sort of gunky glue on them, that if they were to go straight back in, would need re-glueing.
I did a bit of...

Couldn't agree more. There is nothing like photographing an even surface made on an N+ neg then contact printed on G3 to reveal density nasties.
Bruce
I have come to understand that some...
Just doing a bit of research into what - if any - is the most consistent way to develop 5x4 b+w sheets to give even results. I've been rotary processing for years, and now and again I get such...
Another Titan SF user, all too happy also. Ive 'decked' mine once or twice and would have been really upset had it been made from a lovely sheeny wood. The appeal of these cameras is their rugged,...
David. I often do 40x30 b+w prints. It's not too difficult once you establish what to do. I use 1 tray for the whole process, tipping chemicals in and out of 3 plastic buckets (pails!). I process...
Strange, because on 5x4 the notch is a great big half circle.
Taking a shot not long ago, late in the day, low light, I had an exposure time of 5 mins. During the exposure it started to rain, not heavily, but a light wind driven rain, and after about 4 mins the...
Vlad. Again thanks for that. I can see there may be times when the long exposures needed may be a little off-putting, say in natural, darkening light (evening). But where the light is pretty...
Vlad. How do you find those longer exposures? Just looked at the Foma site, and are they long! Do you find Foma's times pretty near. I would have thought given this films dev/contrast issues and the...
There is always the Walker Titan. Tough as old boots.
Thanks for that Vlad. I'm going to dev it like I do FP4 - in home brewed ID-11 1+2 in a Jobo.
