Sounds like a Great show, Monty - Congratulations to you and all the Masterplaters.
Well, looks like I should be able to make it. Cold JB? would be nice, but I will settle for cool...high anything under 80. Oh and nice clouds while were wishing, really nice clouds.
It was good food and good company...was great to see everyone again. Hope to not be as long next time before I can join in a shoot. But the heat has to go first
Was well worth the drive,...
There are 254 counties in Texas, my parents did that project several years ago. Photographed each one, and some of the older ones no longer in service - some of those are gone now. It was a good...
Thanks, JB - just one of those things! Cooler and a little rain on my wish list too!
+1 Michael, congratualation on the new camera.
not quite the same, but they do have those neck wraps that you drop in the ice chest and then they swell up and help keep you cool. Susan has it though start to hydrate now, and keep drinking lots...
It was quite a treat for me, been a long time and it was good to catch up with everyone. Enjoyed the conversation and show at the Carter...interesting to see the different work - albumen,...

Shhhh...don't want to wake them, going to try and sneak out Saturday.;)
You gonna make it?
 Not sure what NORMAL is anymore, now rain...I have talked to people that have seen it, just not around here.
Know I should know this - but BPH?
Might grab the digital think and shoot some early before meeting for breakfast.
Hey, I might just be able to make this....hmmmmm, is the heat about to break or what.
Hope to see everyone there!!
Have been unable to 'practice' much over the last couple of years and will verify just about everything Bruce wrote.
Thanks Bruce, nice work.
Barry, nice to hear you will be in town for this. I can't make it, but hope to hear many good things from everyone.
Are you still making the filmholders, Barry?
+1..which is South of Taos, of course most never notice when they leave one and enter the other.
Missed this one, going to have to pay attention or stop by more often. Hope to catch the next one...this one looked fun
Congratulations to Bill and Clay, this will a very exciting series.
I'm with Monty, can't wait to collect everyone that Bill includes in the series, it should be an excellent collection.
Mike

Isn't that the true, Louie. Well said.
Thanks Erik!!
Anyone have a part number for double-sided tape (3M) that can be used for repair of light trap felt?
Thanks in advance..
A 11x14 Ritter must be a thing to behold, wonder if I could make it? It would be like having 2 7x11's ....
I think that may be closer to the truth than any Oren.. :)
for the many of the odd size LF films/cameras I think Michael Mutmansky described these best as ELF or Exotic Large Format...it's how I refer to my 7x11's Ritter and Kodak both with 8x10 backs.
Thanks Brian, nice tones and texture...looks like you guys had a blast.
sorry missed you guys, other oblications kept me from meeting you (and this was a location I have wanted to shoot for years...sigh)
Hope more photos can be posted, it is indeed a great building.
As Oren mentioned film comes from the Ilford special order, though I have cut 11x14 in half. I have a Ritter 7x11 (with 8x10 back) and a Eastman 7x11 (with 8x10 and 5x7 backs - though the 5x7 is a...
Love 5x7 format, which is why I love 7x11 (ratio is quite close)...

It was a pleasure meeting everyone, and must say I was very impressed with the work that was shown and the inventiveness of Ed's processing technique.
There are more photographs and some of my...
Thanks, Gem will do my best to make it...know there has been some interest by some in Richards work and it is always better to see one than just read about them - lol.
Thanks to David B (as in Bigdog) for alerting me to this, will try to make it and bring the Ritter 7x11/8x10 for those interested in seeing one of Richards fine cameras.
As mentioned above, great with repair, one hell of a camera designer/maker and just a great person. Have one of his cameras and would use his services again if I needed to.
Hmmmm, how does one explain to the family CFO that I need to send $$ to Monty...think I better leave this one alone. Already enough explaing to do as it is these days..
Bill, Kerik, Bob,...
Think you will enjoy it Wayne...Bruce is great, and the CD is interesting and a lot of fun read.
Arrived yesterday, and look Great!! Echo others comments Jim, Thank You very much.
