Re: digital back and architectural photography

Does anyone have any updates for this same question in 2009?

I am interested in shooting high quality architecture & interior images. Besides a high-end DSLR with a PC lens and a little...

Re: Instant Film Backs that Fit

OK-- so the final resolution to the problem of getting a Fuji instant film back to fit under the ground glass of an older Calumet 4x5....

I was able to buy 2 new 'springs', i.e. long flat metal...

Re: Identifying 4x5 film notch pattern

I just found this wikipedia website (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notch_code). Since the notches are evenly spaced, I think it is probably Delta 400 Professional (Old).

    Identifying 4x5 film notch pattern

I came across some old film that I have written on the box "Ilford". The sheets have 3 half-circle notches right in a row with equal spacing. Can anyone identify the film for me? I looked it up in...

Re: Instant Film Backs that Fit

I think you are correct-- apparently, I have the smaller spring but it seems that there is a larger one available as a spare part from Calumet. I will update this post when I finally get it all...

Re: Instant Film Backs that Fit

Thanks for making that point. I wasn't forcing it in because I didn't want to mar the back in case I have to return it.

The roller handle brings out the ground glass about 20mm but since it is...

Re: Instant Film Backs that Fit

Good idea-- I'll check with them. The model isn't listed on the camera. But, from the info brochures listed on cameraeccentric.com, I was able to figure out that mine is a CC-401.

Re: Instant Film Backs that Fit

Hmmm... I may be stuck without instant proofs.

From what I can tell, a graflok won't mount to this kind of old-school back (see pic). The perimeter screws are for attaching the fixed bellows, I...

    Instant Film Backs that Fit

I'm having a problem with getting instant film backs to fit under the ground glass on my old-school Calumet camera. I had a Polaroid 545 that worked fine but unfortunately, the film isn't available...

    Re: Ektar filter adapters

Robert: Thanks for the additional info. I guess I hadn't ever seen a list of the filter conversions, only the chart of the diameter ranges falling in each Series. Seems like its not so easy to find...

    Ektar filter adapters

This is an old thread, but I am working on configuring a filter setup for two Ektar lenses I have, so maybe someone can help. I may go with the home-made 'step-up ring with foam solution' if I can't...
  12. Re: Some questions on a Kodak Flash Supermatic levers

Good question. I have one but I'd like to have another so I don't have to switch it between lenses. I'm afraid I'll drop it and lose it!
  13. Re: Some questions on a Kodak Flash Supermatic levers

I have one of these bayonet adapters that lets me use a regular pc sync cord. Here are some pics... first without and then with the adapter.
