This is a hard blow. I really would have expected Kodak to drop color neg before Fuji.

Fujifilm still lists 160S in 13x18cm:

First I missed APX 25, then APX 100... (loved them in Rodinal 1:50)
Oh, did anyone mention Verichrome Pan (my favourite Kodak b/w film, I never tried Super XX)???
Thanks again Robert.
Thanks Robert.
Would this lens be of any interest in LF photography?
Hello,
I've been offered what seems to be a magic lantern lens, but I really don't have a clue.
Other than the attached images, all I know are the dimensions: 12cm long, 6cm diameter. It does not...
Check out Megaphoto, other than a couple of scratches here and there, they did a great job on a large 4x5 lot. It's located on the edge of Colegiales and Palermo districts; they've got a webpage too...
The ad says he is located in Huesca, that is Spain. The description is clearly ripped off from an english written ad and gone through an awful automatic translator. It will be suspicious for anyone...
Congratulations Joseph, that is a beautiful camera indeed.
KEH is an excellent reference, they have an EX rated one at $339. So, say $300, or $250 if you want to sell it fast?
I use the 030L with my Sinar P 5x7", it just fits and feels better that the standard hex plate. As suggested by seepaert, use a tool to tighten the screw.
Adrian, I can recommend Charles Clifford's documentation of the construction of Madrid's waterworks (Canal de Isabel II). I can't remember the name of the book, but a quick google of Clifford brought...
Thanks for your kind words Joshua! Having an F2, when I decided to move up to 5x7 I also searched for an F2 back. They are impossible to find. A couple of times a year though, F2 5x7 rear standards...
Hi Joshua, it will not fit an F2. You need a P or P2 rear standard bearer to use that back.
Other than special orders, there are no neg films available in 13x18 that I know of. You can get expensive 13x18cm slide film though (at www.nordfoto.de for example)
... to match that lovely Sinar Pan/Tilt head!
Vlad, point taken. I have enjoyed reading all the article and both the images and the process are very interesting. But still, the color is 21st century:)
Superb, thanks for the link.... but FWIW the photos are not color...
and
I understand all his colour-work is 35mm?
Stephan, you're looking for a camera for "relatively serious" architecture work with lots of movements, cheap and portable, ie field. I'm afraid those 3 request don't usually come together and you'll...
Yes, it's possible. For example, you could fly from Santiago to Coihaique and easily rent a car there (although I'd recommend a pickup truck or 4x4 for the unpaved roads and usual mud). Around the...
if you are in Europe, Nordfoto Versand (nordfoto.de) has 669 in stock. In the US, B&H has it too.
That's the swing/tilt lock, according to its position, you control swing/tilt via the knob right next to it. Not sure if it's an easy fix though.
Nordfoto (www.nordfoto.de) has 8x10 Provia in stock.
Thanks Bernie & Glenn. Not long after the original post, I tried the lens and the fungus didn't affect the image quality at all.
1&2. what Scott said.
3. A&I in Hollywood does a great job (I've used their mail order service).
Hugo, the snap-on holder is designed for use with one filter at a time. Other than getting a Lee foundation kit with 2-3 slots, you can always hand hold even density filters (especially if you filter...
Dear Amy, although I only exchanged a couple of emails with Ted, please accept my sincerest and warmest condolences. The whole LF community is with you in thought and heart.

I know Ted and others are weary to buy originally expensive equipment from ebay, but IMO if you can pick up personally and get that kind of warranty it's just to good to pass. Moreover, you might be...
Yes you can, but not an easy find. Plus, F2 backs are not interchangeable, so you can't shoot 8x10" unless you get a whole F2 back and standard. When shooting 5x7" I use a Sinar P back standard with...
So the inevitable question is if that $15 scan will hold a 7x or 8x enlargement as well as the drum scan.... ???
After some research, Rodinal is actually produced by www.ao-imaging.com
Marko, I think the "sudden interest" you mention is only a consequence of Rodinal being readily available once more. There...
I stocked up with several bottles a couple of years ago... but I understand the new company is called "Agfa Photo" and the "new" Rodinal is the same as the original Agfa Gevaert.
BTW, they have...
It's in English too: http://www.astrosurf.com/buil/us/iris/iris.htm
I found my lens pouches at Ikea: they sell a messenger bag that includes 2 insert pouches for 8 euros. IMO the padding is enough and they are a perfect fit for my Sinar boards. Even better, the...
Found an interesting ULF panoramic format camera on eBay. Does anyone know of this format and it's history? Definitively much rarer than 8x20...

The usual disclaimer:...
Paul, may I ask if the 5x7 holders will still be priced around or under $55, as planned?
OT: Kirk, please empty your inbox, I tried to PM you but it's full. Thanks!
So, here it goes - sorry for the bad pictures. You'll see the new part is built from what I think is aluminium, it attaches to the F frame via 4 screws and has the two notches and a lip to sit...
Marco, the P2 bearer is the same as the P.
The only way of using an F2 carrier frame on a P or P2 bearer is adapting it to fit. I have a 4x5 standard F carrier that was adapted for a P bearer by...
