Pulling this up. What would be a good price to buy the Kodak 8x10 for in good condition?
Thanks to both of you. I was reading this: http://www.largeformatphotography.info/forum/showthread.php?113238-Arca-Swiss-Model-B
and got confused, because someone was saying it would be possible...
Dear alle, tried to find an answer to this through the search function of the forum, but did't find a comprehensive answer.
Yes or no? Will the older Arca B bellows fit a 171mm Arca Swiss F?
...
Perfect, thank you
Kardan in German describes following: A drive shaft, driveshaft, driving shaft, propeller shaft (prop shaft), or Cardan shaft is a mechanical component for transmitting torque and rotation, usually...
the telescopic rail is shorter and makes the camera easier to transport. I would love to get rid of my lightware case for the kardan, as it is huge.
Sorry if there was a misunderstanding. I have a pretty recent 4x5 Kardan E which has the same rail as the current RE. I would like to exchange this rail with a telescopic rail from a recent GT....
no Kardanistas out there?
Hello,
maybe anybody knows this for sure, are Linhof Kardan E or RE banks are interchangeable with the telescopic rail of the Kardan GT.
Thanks in advance,
How to get in touch with him? He got a website?
Dear LF friends, I tried searching for some options beyond the obvious original groundglass from Linhof. Steve Hopf seems to be out of business. Is there anybody with some experience regarding the...
good idea, will try this
the secondary lock works quite well with bigger and heavier setups (my Linhof). It doesn't get in the way with the D800 either.
The heijnar solution looks slik, but you can't compensate for the...
I use this http://www.adorama.com/gtmh658.html Put it on the plate which came with the head, saved me the heijnar adapter. Holds the Technika really well, the D800 with a Arca L, and the Sony as...
Ahh Mathieu, just saw it now thank you for your reply. How do you develop your RPX400?
No, I know it is available in 135 and 120, but I was asking 4x5 users how they like it and use it.
Do you see a difference in using the 3010 compared to the 2500 for 4x5??? I was thinking about getting back into developing BW myself and still have some 2500 tanks laying around. But, I'm more...
Is anybody using Rollei RPX 400 in 4x5 and how do you like it?
old fart, old dreams

perfect and made for...
I'm more interested in the compensating characteristics of the developer, not the push abilities.
But thanks
Hello Domingo, I just did the math, no matter how great MZB might be, it is way to expensive for the amounts of sheet film I want to process.
Hello, I'm looking for a developer which will handle night shots on HP5 well. It should be readily available in Europe or Germany. I found out about the Moersch MZB developer, did some search, but...
cool, it starts all over again.
Hello Umut, 10% is a generalization on my behalf. I generally use only one film and one developer or two. I once did run a test and the negatives were almost blank, only some highlights and a few...
You answered your question yourself, the case is one of the first for the Sinar P and could be used to carry the 4x5 or 5x7 version
I general my experience is, that for scanning film should be flatter in gradation and underdeveloped by 10%, if you don't want to exagerate grain.
Hello Umut, sorry, my bad, I did read you post wrong. Polypan for sure is not Pan F.
In any case I would contact Walter Moersch directly by email and see what he has to say about Shanghai film.
...
Wolfgang Moersch does rate the Pan F at 25 ASA
Use the drop down menue on this
http://www.moersch-photochemie.de/content/rechner
for your Tanol-PanF combination and choose a temperature...
Thank you for the tip. Will look it up.
It was about the developer. So I can't buy it in Europe any more?! How about delivery from the US? Anybody tried that?
where to buy it and what alternatives do I have if it's not available over here???
Thank you both for your opinion. I'm rather interested in the versatility of the Omni Trekker. I need a bag I can take over the shoulder and work out of it and if needed use it as a backpack as well...
Is anybody of you using a Lowepro Omni Trekker to carry his large format gear? I have a Linhof Technika, 2 lenses and some film holders. Tids and bits not counted in. Any alternative to the Lowepro?
@ kodachrome beeing a pro does include beeing silent up about the size of your fridge. just do what you're doing ( I hope you make enough to save for your retirement) but making fun of the guys...
Didn't James Bond show us you can just shoot with a simple Minox and enlarge later...

I think it really depends on what you want to do with this. Actually this one looks great, it is on wheels, etc. If it would be on my side of the pond, I would be tempted to put it in my studio and...
saw this on another forum, a guy (I don't know him) is selling this beauty.
