I have Delta 100 film in the backs now. I guess I'll have to sacrifice it to replace the dark slide light traps if inspecting the other bits doesn't pan out. Backs are hard to come by these days.

Scans were done with an Epson V850 Pro

These are 35mm images made last October. Again, I didn't document the shots. I don't know why
This gentleman is a friend of mine from our photo club. I've learned a lot from him. He switched from...
Last September I drove out to Big Bend (one of over a dozen trips I've made there). I was just getting back into shooting film and I had my 8x10, 4x5, Hasselblad CM503CW, an EOS 1V, and some DSLR's....
After about 5 or 6 years of being away from shooting film I've slowly gotten back to it. I have developed some 35mm and 120, plus I have two sheets of 8x10 Delta 100 that need to be developed. I'll...
4x5 Delta 100 scan made with my Chamonix 5 years ago. It's not far from my house and I just got an 8x10 so I may revisit this. I haven't shot film in 3 or 4 years (digital either). I'm getting geared...
I think I'm going to load the empty holders from the new box of Delta 100. Just in case.
I really like the look of that image. Nicely done!
That crossed my mind. I'm kind of curious how the HP5+ is going to work and there's the I've haven't done this for a while. This way I can blame the film if I screw up
When I stepped away...
Perfect. Thank you
Well I got that almost completely wrong.
#1 RPT - 6 holders loaded with HP5+
#2 RPT - The first holder, second side has an exposed sheet of Portra 160 in it. The other side and rest of the...
I'll figure out what it is when I shoot the film and process the negatives but if someone knows what the notch code is for Rollei Infrared sheet film I'd like to add that to my notebook. I haven't...
That is gorgeous!
Is that down around Venice, LA? The location looks familiar.
I like it. My darkroom is still in storage. One day I'll dive in and I hope mine comes out this good.
Nice workmanship!!
Whoa... this is gorgeous!
Outstanding! The image has a lot of feeling
WOW! I love this image.
I hiked in to Cattail Falls in Big Bend National Park on Wednesday. I drove 8 hours to get there. I went straight to the trailhead. I took my Chamonix 4x5, a 110mm Schneider-Kreuznach Super-Symmar...
That's great to hear! I also have a 75, love that lens. I'm not in a bind to use the lenses mounted on the Linhof boards (except maybe the 75 but I'll give the 90 some time in the field). The back...
Unfortunately Richard Ritter's Lens Board links are all dead.
All of my lenses, except one, are mounted to Linhof boards. I have an adapter so I can use them on my Sinar(s). I recently picked up an apparently unused Zone VI 4x5 and it came with two lens boards...
Seven Bridges Road
There's not a single bridge on the road that the old oak is hanging over but every time I drive under it I think of the song that the Eagles sang.
Chamonix 4x5. Rodenstock...
Very true. One, now passed on, practitioner as he called it said something along the lines of - If you normally expose for shadows in Zone 3, put them in Zone 4. If you develop for N, develop for...
PS- I will add that although I like the convenience of the Jobo and without it or some other form of tank method I would not be developing my film, I can see the value in tray development. It was a...
Thank you for all of the insightful replies and book. For now I am relegated to scanning and making platinum contact prints. I will have a darkroom one day. Soon I hope.
My "N-2" guess seems to...
I'm finally somewhat comfortable with shooting and developing black and white film (35mm, 120, and 4x5). I've made a lot of mistakes but things are going well enough that I'm ready to start making...
I'm still working on this one. It's made from a digital negative. Platinum Palladium process.

I didn't put heat on the paper. Well... not like using a blow dryer which I wouldn't do. I put it in a vehicle that was parked under a shed, and was about 100°F inside. But I get your point.
The...
I wish I could remember exactly how he said it but Patrick Alt said something to the effect that making prints on digital printers was making posters. :D I've made a lot of posters since 2008 lol

I envy your darkroom time. I don't have one and there's no place to put one in my house. I plan to build a large workshop in the near future and it will have a wet darkroom. For now I develop my film...
There's the problem then. I reprinted one of the workshop prints to see if something would change (it did) and mindlessly changed the process :) I wondered if the 4000' altitude difference was going...
Thanks for all the posts
Yes it is... they take up a lot of space and use a lot of water. But, having all of the trays lets me develop more than one print at a time. At one time I had 4 prints...
Well shoot. I figured that was it. That's what I get for rushing a process that should not be rushed.
Question- I use 11x14 trays. Today was the first time that I have made Pd/Pt prints at home...
I printed 10 Pt/Pd prints today. Same exposure time. Same drop schedule. Same paper. Same developer. A few of them came out pretty flat. They look like there wasn't enough sensitizer on the paper....
I haven't checked in here much lately. This entire page is Hole-E-Crap amazing. Wonderful images every one.
To be honest, I don't remember what the deal with EDTA was. It had something to do with mixing with something else. I just checked OverExposure (book) and HCA and EDTA mixed didn't come up as a...
I enjoyed his subtle sense of humor. His video is what kicked me off on this adventure a few years ago...
One of the class participants tried Ammonium citrate on one of his portraits. I didn't like the result. Of course everything can be tweaked but I thought it lacked contrast. If I was printing a...
