Ok, so I've updated my schematic - I'm up and running with the ballasts/lights. I've yet to wire up the fans - will keep you guys posted on the final.

Thanks Jim.
Yeah, I went by the Fulham wiring diagram found here - https://www.fulham.com/WDpdf/wire7.pdf. The ballasts and bulbs work when I went direct to AC. Unfortunately, when hooking...
Thanks Jim, would you be able to comment on your general circuit design vs. my approach? I'm not sure if I'm on the right path or doing something completely off - here's the current schematic.

Thanks for the feedback Jeff.
1. Isolation transformer - makes sense for protection - would a surge protector suffice, or are you referring to full on power conditioner?
2. IEC receptacle - this...
Hi, I'm in the process of building a UV box - would someone be able to help me validate my circuit diagram? I messed up in my original design and ended up blowing through a few ballasts ($$$ lesson)....
Great colors Pali! Makes me wish I was there right now :D

Thanks tuco! Using the RF for panning took some getting used to... but nice not to have the mirror slap of an SLR.
Seb, Tuco, wow incredible work on the 6x17!

Took my recently acquired Leica M3 for a spin - awesome little camera but found that I have some focusing issues at infinity.
Here are some samples from the MotoGP race in Austin a couple weekends...
That's so nice JP!
I assume 6x14 goes here... some samples from the Pali K6x14 v5, using a Schneider Anuglon 90mm F6.8. Focusing is a bit off for the Schneider and it doesn't have total coverage for 6x14.

Multi exposure and exposure lock can help with fine tuning the scan. Basically you want to achieve a linear, RAW scan for maximum quality control in post processing. I doubt you’ll gain much doing a...
Yes, that can be a viable approach too! Also, I didn't discuss on other potential benefits like reducing flare through wet mounting.
Btw, I printed my photo on 48x36" aluminum at 300dpi and it's...
Ahh gotcha. I've heard the IV are prone to flooding, but not sure about their meter's quality.
So far I haven't shot anything underwater, all above water with the 35 mm.

Agree with Pere, wet mounting may not always be worth the time/effort, but can really help in the situations where you need it. I use the Better Scanning mounting station and it's great for wet...
