    Re: Beutler-Pyro: a different formula

Still using it! See my above post for answers to a couple of your questions. However: The fabulous thing about a formula is that market for the developer doesn't matter, and how many users doesn't...

    Bon Voyage Mathieu!

I love in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, and here we are very proud of our beautiful mountains. That said, Torres del Paine is the most stunning landscape I have ever seen....

    Flash Supermatic parts?

    Colleagues,

I'm looking for an aperture tab for a Kodak Flash Supermatic shutter. This tab attaches to the aperture lever by a tiny screw and clicks across indentations in the shutter faceplate. I...

    Re: Beutler-Pyro: a different formula

Harald could probably answer that better than I. But as I've said earlier in the thread, it has unbelievable keeping qualities (better even than the remarkable 510-Pyro and without the less-than-fun...

83717Here's the formula generated by Adobe Acrobat from Harald's file. It should be readable by Acrobat from version 4 up.

    Re: Beutler-Pyro: a different formula

So here's a followup two and a half years on. I have really come to appreciate this formula, particularly because it is the only developer that delivers true box speed for the Fomapan emulsions. Full...

Re: 35mm/120/220 reels for Jobo 2336?

Here's the 2001 reel -- a Uni-set for sale on fleabay in South Africa. It's bigger than a 1501 and smaller than a 2502. It seems like it will not expand to 120, though I am not sure. Perhaps the...

Re: 35mm/120/220 reels for Jobo 2336?

Could I afford a lift... I use either a Unicolor roller with the tank or float it in a water bath and hand roll it. Fortunately no lift problems.

So I think the actual reels I am looking for would...

Re: 35mm/120/220 reels for Jobo 2336?

    Thanks Sevo.

I have the old 2336 and a 2551. The 2336 is the screw type and more narrow than the 2551, but if the 1500-series reels will fit the central column then they will fit inside the tank....

    35mm/120/220 reels for Jobo 2336?

I've hunted and found n prior threads on this. But has anyone ever put a 35mm, 120/220 reel in a Jobo 2336? That's the old tank that takes the 2021 4X5 reels. Every once in a while I want to mix...

    Re: Beutler-Pyro: a different formula

I used the tetrasodium, which I understood to be functionally no different from the disodium. The ferric sodium I had never seen in a formula and assumed it to be for more rare purpose if it is...

    Re: Beutler-Pyro: a different formula

    Hello Harald,

I just wanted to note that I mixed and tried the formula last night, developing a couple rolls of Efke IR820c (not Aura) and a roll of still unused APX 100. I was excited to find the...

    Many thanks gentlemen.

Eric: I hadn't yet tried WD2H and will give it a go for general curiosity as well. That's the beauty of bulk chems.

  17. Re: Visible image stain, low general stain film/pyro combo

    Thanks Doremus!

The bleaching idea is quite intriguing. I'll definitely experiment. Do you have a solution percentage for the bleach?

    Best,

  18. Visible image stain, low general stain film/pyro combo

    Friends,

For a demo in a university photo class I am looking for a film/developer combination that gives the highest proportional image stain and perhaps a relatively low general stain.

    I'm...
