Denise,
This is REALLY nice - the composition, tones, mood, everything about it is fantastic!
Cheers,
Leon
Hi Marko,
I like the reflections in this quite a bit.. Was this a negative scan?
I use a 4x10 Shen-Hao as well :-)
Cheers,
Leon
Sounds about right given the supply/demand situation :-)

PS CS4 works just fine here, and my Epson R2400 works without any issues. I'm happy with my upgrade.
-Leon
Got it to work now, thanks. Lion kicks ass BTW.
-Leon
Its not a driver issue. The software they supply for scanning doesnt not work under Lion. I downloaded the trial version of VueScan and it works, I just dont want to pay $80 to be able to use the...
After upgrading to OSX 10.7 EpsonScan software for my V700 scanner no longer works. It is a universal binary and should work but it doesnt.
Anyone elese have the same experience or workaround? I...
This is REALLY nice :-) Great shot.

Thanks for the info Louis; this seems to make more sense. I will double check the rib location on my holders.
Cheers,
Leon
This appears to be the case; thanks for the clarification Robert.

Edge marking on the Folmer holders
Jason,
Here are some photos of the holders. Two of them are Kodak and have a hinged end flap. The other two are Folmer I believe and have a fixed end flap.
I overlaid a fidelity holder and...
Not sure if they are, but IIRC one or two had Kodak stamped on them. I'll check tonight and take some photos as well.

I have in my collection of old stuff 4 8x10 film holders. They accept regular old 8x10 film as I have loaded each one with sacrificial film to make sure.
They are slightly thicker and wider (8"...
Exactly. These aren't lenses that come up everyday and if one REALLY NEEDED or WANTED one they'd have to pay accordingly :-)
-Leon
Very nicely done; congrats!
You'd have to check the camera specs to make sure that it can accomodate a short lens such as a 47mm.
On my Toyo field cameras I had to use a recessed lens board just to be able to use a 65mm...
Rodney Dangerfield is using what appears to be a Graphic camera of some sorts in Easy Money :-)
Great to have the site back up and running - Thanks for all the hard work guys.
-Leon
Thanks so much for looking this up Steve. Much appreciated.

Thanks for the links Gentlemen; I have those in my bookmarks. the Ebony list is indeed very helpful but does not list the FFL for the older lens I have.
FL and FFL are indeed much different and...
Im looking for the flange distance on the older (352mm IC) fujinon W 210mm lens.
Does anyone have a source or know what this distance is?
Thanks in advace,
Leon
Beautiful colors Jim; The symmetry of the second one speaks more to me but I'd be happy if I'd captured either one :-)
Cheers,
Leon
Thanks Preston,
I'll give them a call. I might be up there in a few days to test some new gear :-)
Cheers,
Leon
Thanks for posting this Preston. Does this apply to the campground outside the park boundary as well? We were looking at staying at the Aspen campground but will wait till it's open for sure :-)

Most likely an airplane with blinking lights flying across the fov :-)

Very lovely image of what my brain sees when I hear the word "machine" :-)
This is very nice Jim!
While I'm not a big fan of 4-jaw chucks, these two are impressive; how big is that large one?
-Leon
That was my thinking when I was looking to post my initial shot; it didn't quite fit the "industry" thread.
Nice photos being posted nevertheless - keep 'em coming.
-Leon
Looking forward to it :-)
