Mine is an old Zone VI canvas dark cloth that I bought in the 80's. White on one side, black on the other, weights in the corners. It's heavy, it doesn't really stay in place when I'm using it but...

I think you're lucky to get 5 years out of a drive these days. I use Backblaze, a Drobo, several external drives, and a raid 0 drive for files I'm currently working on (1gb scans). Haven't had a...
Am I doing the math incorrectly, a 16-bit bw scan at 19,200 x 24,000 pixels would be a 900gb file? I'm nuts right?
Ah, I never got around to using mine. hmmm...
I've been through this exact form of gyration.
I've had the Linhof Tech V, and various Graphics. I ended up staying with the Crown Graphic with top RF and a 135mm Xenotar that just happened to...
What thickness brass did you use? I guess I could just take my cam out and compare. :)
Did you start with a particular shape when making the cam and just grind it down manually until it focused...
But really, how is it "too much time" to switch lens boards?
I mean, are you shooting with two cameras at the same time, with the same lens? That's an interesting technique.
Otherwise, this...
How did you get a Polaroid 405 to fit in the Travelwide? Mine won't. It's way too tall for the end of the spring clips. This camera would be better with something like the way graflok backs are held...
I wish New55 PN was a reasonably functional product, shooting with my remaining Type 55 and 59 is really great.
I'm so glad I read this thread. The distance scale is in meters? I was wondering why mine was so off!
(yeah, it's right there in the instructions, but, I need BIGGER print!)
Aztek sells DPL, which will do this. $$$.
Are you sure the problem is Vuescan? I briefly owned the 45U, and had lines using the original software. The problem turned out to be a bad SCSI cable. I've had the same problem with my drum scanner....
Yeah, eeek - wet mount on the glass sounds like recipe for a disaster.
Portra 160. And I use it handheld with my Crown Graphic. Such an amazing film.
I use Lightwaves in SF. Never had a problem. Consistent results. They seem to process enough film daily that they're staying in business and chemicals are fresh. :)
Shoot more film. I've got 20 or 30 boxes sitting here. I need to toss them in the recycle bin.
Are you using this app with an iPhone 6 and iOS 8? Because it absolutely doesn't work for me with an iPhone 6.
Actually, I disagree. What I find helpful is to understand other people's experiences while using a particular camera. Like any tool, a camera will do somethings well, others, not as well. It's...
So.....yeah, I'm thinking about creating a bracket to use my 8x10 kmv handheld. (it's a ridiculously stupid idea, please don't bother telling me that).
Any thoughts on the best way to go about...
The camera is solid, but, things get pushed around while being carried in a backpack. I'll take a look around.
Actually, looking around my studio, I realized that the KMV is almost the exact same size as my Mackie mixer. Came up with this bag: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ProFX12Bag.
I tend to put all of my gear in a backpack when shooting on location. I've got cases from the PhotoBackpacker for my 4x5 cameras and lenses, but, they don't seem to have a case in stock for the KMV...
Not as simple as the Polaroid processor, but the New55 and 20x24 studio team show you how to process 8x10 polaroid without a processor. ...
Wow! I was thinking about this exact project, and poof! someone else has already done the hard work.
Thank you so much for sharing. Much appreciated.
Yeah, Panda bought the dip and dunk machines from that lab in Spokane back in 2008, but they never had the space to install the machines. Sad to hear it still hasn't happened.
Those were lenses in barrel. Thanks.
I'm thinking of selling my 150mm f/2.8 Xenotar, I have no idea what the asking price should be. I've trolled ebay sold listings, but not much help.
It's in good condition, a tiny mark on the rear...
This turned out to be a reproducible bug in the latest version of Epson Scan (v3.921). I finally heard back from Epson support and they were able to reproduce the issue.
Vuescan does work, so, I might just buy that and forget Epson Scan.
I'm using Windows 7. I've got 16gb of RAM and over 1TB of free disk space. Hmm. Still searching for a solution.
Yes, I saw that this question was asked once before, but, here's an interesting twist. I stupidly decided to fix something that wasn't broken and installed the latest version of the Epson scan...
Thanks for the thoughts everyone. I spent some time exploring options this weekend, and I've figured out a way to hang the prints. I'll document it once I have it complete. Note, it doesn't include...
So, I'm not sure, is this response designed to help me with my quest for displaying my prints?
Yup, the only thing I've read is that some paper is too heavy for the plastic clips. It gives me an idea though, to create something similar that would clamp a set of aluminum bars top and bottom.
Yeah, posterhanger works. I knew someone had solved this!
Yeah, I was thinking of creating a method of suspending them.
I've been making big prints since the late 80's, but I've always been dissatisfied with traditional framing.
I print everything myself.
Well, I think I'm going to create a system for hanging these. I have some ideas, but I was hoping someone had already tried solving this problem. Having talked to...
Well, I think the last thing I want to do is permanently mount anything on either foamcore or metal/dibond.
Yeah, not thumbtacks. I remember the Black Rapid folks had a cable hanging system in their gallery space in Seattle.
This might not be the right forum, but, I'm trying to figure out the most cost effective way to hang my 44" x 60" prints. I know that I can get them framed, at considerable cost.
Any other...
